I got it for $35 shipped from a member, but it's listed on Amazon for like $65. It's at the bottom of the page of you wanna check it out. It should fit your truck cause it's a universal kit. Finding somewhere to mount it is the hardest. You sure you don't have the tow package? Do you have a factory hitch? If you do you should have a trans cooler. If you want to monitor the temp get a scangauge haha. Run both!

From the quick search i just did people are even running 255/85/16 on stock 3.73 gears so I bet you will be fine with them. Does your scanguage or ultraguage not show you the temp?

Well my radiator bolt seems to have disappeared haha. I just happened to notice it was missing and the radiator was moving on 1 side. The skid plate bolts were just old and one of the heads was stripped so I decided to replace them

Ultraguage won't pay toyota for the codes to access their software. Scanguage did for 2nd gens, first gen codes were discovered by someone on the forums. Technically ultraguage could read trans temp, it's just a matter of figuring out the codes to get into the software

I have the factory tow hitch, but its only a 4 prong plug, and I don't think I have the extra cooler that is supposed to be up by the radiator

Idk if they came with the 7 pin plug or not. It'd be easy to check. There would be 3 coolers up front. Radiator, trans, and a/c. Trans would probably be the smallest

The main thing the front skid protects is the radiator. It sticks out below the bumper a little. And that part of the radiator is what cools the trans, so it would be bad it that was broke haha

I just realized that when I went in the ditch in my sig pic, the bumper was underwater and so was my PA. You can see it in the pic haha. That thing has taken so much abuse, hell it survived a car wreck, it was mounted to my nissan's bumper. Touch little Chinese POS haha
