    Hi,
I'm looking to replacement shocks for my Tacoma.

Dumb question maybe, but are these the same parts for rear left and right?

    I have part #'s:

    F4-BE5-D560-T0
    F4-BE5-D558-T0

I called a retailer, they told me that both are identical (they used part # 300825-1-KIT instead) ... reading around apparently left and right are slightly different?

due to the different mounting the drivers side shock is slightly longer.

great, thanks for the replies, the online seller came back with the same. So the difference is so minimal that it won't be noticable.

I wouldn't install equal length shocks without relocating the upper mounts.
Droop and compression will also be unequal.

I think the staggered upper mounts are about 1/2" difference in length/reach.
Shorting one side can cause damage to the shock seal if it compresses or extends harshly.

Acceptable maybe for street use... but not for max/equal articulation off road.

Suppose you could install taller bump stops to limit shock travel...
But what's the point of reducing the max shock stroke length ?

Do it right unless yer just a street queen.

I want to do it right but cannot find an online dealer in Canada that has both the different rear and right shocks and also sells the correct bushings. (I've found http://www.tdotperformance.ca but they are not replying to my emails) .

Can anyone recommend a Canadian retailer that can get the shocks and the bushings ? (I'm in Vancouver if that helps)
