Just so you know an e locker wont bolt into a non e locker housing..... You have to have the whole axle

Ha ok good. Didn't wanna see you try and put that in your axle :p I've been trying to find an e locker axle but the only ones I've found was before I got my new job so I couldn't justify picking it up

Its been a while since Ive posted here been super busy. Ive done a few new things to the taco since then. I had the head rack re built and made it a roll bar this time with a new actuated light hoop. Also had a new rear bumper built with a swing out tire rack on it, tho I cant take any credit for the bumper as the idea came from box rockets design. Ill be adding more to it as I go to change it up a bit. I still need to mount the lights in the light hoop and finish re wiring everything. Heres a pic of how she sits now!

Side shot of the new roll bar. Definitely feel like it looks better than the old setup!

Time to update the goldie build again! :) Its been a while because I had to move across the country and I gotta say I was pleased with how well the taco did on a 2500 mile trip with 245,000 miles on the odo. I finally installed a 32" led bar on the actuated setup on the new roll bar. I will add another in the near future to fill in the gap on the bottom. Just replaced the brakes and decided to upgrade to drilled and slotted rotors up front. I went with some powerstop rotors from RockAuto parts and gave the calipers a fresh coat of high temp paint. Also added some new bed lighting with some led's I found on Amazon. Next Ill be pulling the transmission due to the fact that I have a leaky rear main seal  which pretty much killed the year old marlin clutch I just installed. That's about it for now here's some pics of the progress.

Well after almost a year of having that elocker 3rd sittin in my garage I finally picked up a housing for it! Gonna order up some new seals and swap out the axles here soon enough. Gonna shoot to have the taco ready to go by spring and hope to hit some trails out here in the VA area. :)
