Dean(my friend) and I went to go look for eddie and matt since they were stuck. we found them about 4pm at pole 21 by comp hill. matt and i exchanged some unfriendly works so i ended up leaving. on the way back to camp i found all the nor cal guys were stuck so i tried to help them. in the process i called cory to help matt. then a about 20 minutes later i see cory, derek, matt, and someone else i cant remember the name drive by. tis about 515pm now. they got leave and im still trying to get the nor cal guys out. cory and the bunch leave to go find matt. they come back circling around about an hour later and are all cheering then realize that they were back at the same group and still havent found eddie or matt. its pitch black and foggy as hell now. about 8ish i decide to go look for derek and that bunch. i called cory asking where he is and he said "we're stuck in a bowl past pole 23" i think oh shit...... so i go look. i find them but relive if i go down the dune i doubt id get back up it since im 2wd. i find them but wasnt able to stop in time so i had my front wheels going down the hill already. derek finally gets out along with alex's truck. i say fuck it and got for it and we finally made it. north we go, pole 23, pole 22 I SEE LIGHTS!!! we went to the lights to find mikes truck, but with no mike. he ended up ripping the valve stem off his paddles. cory and i thinkwe're track starts and decide to run and help matt and relize some HUGE ass chevy is pulling him out. eddie and matt then come to pole 21 as cory and i run back huffing and puffing. we find mike and in the middle or the dark night and foggy ass sky we change the tire. little rough getting if off but we did. i forgot to mention that the fog was so thick you couldnt see 10 feet in front of you. we finally fix mikes tire and try to head back to camp. we have a few detours since no one can see and dean is freaking out cause his sense of direction is all off. we haul ass out of there and see the nor cal guys WHO ARE STILL STUCK! its about 10pm now.. we say sorry and just decide to head back to camp and discuss how shitty that night was.. but really, it was quite the fun haha. gosh, my fingers are tired now.

It was lembowski Matt. He was just frustrated at being stuck and Brian was on the receiving end of that frustration, but they figured everything out good to go.

I made a little jump vid from comp hill that. I'll throw up when I get home from work.

that was such an adventure...but so worth it. haha. i thought it would take us 30 min to rescue matt and mike... had i know it was going to be over 3 hours i would have for sure brought my cooler full of delicious coors light

i was with the rescue sqaud. i didnt yell at brian...haha

it all turned out fine in the end. lembowski is a cool dude and apologized for his actions. it was understanble his level of frustration

shiiiit. i left my truck back at camp. we all piled in dereks truck and alex and his buddy took his truck. where alex got stuck the sand was so soft and steep when derek backed up to try to pull alex out of the bowl he almost wasn't able to get out himself when we decided it wasn't gonna work.

had we taken my truck...it would still prolly be there

This is after every thing was done, we were traveling back to the camp and Matt (lembowski) got stuck again going up a hill. So I had to pull him backwards so he could try the hill again. This was the exact place where the north cal guys were still stuck.
