This is true. I want to go. But I'm not a fan of Texas beaches and don't like large convoys/camp groups. So we'll see. I'll also be a single parent by then with two little ones that I'll have to factor in

 

Understand, I know the beaches down there are different then corpus area, havn’t been down there since 95

Im so down with this. I travel to the valley almost every 2-3weeks from Dallas. I can meet up or catch up with the convoy.

I might be leaving early and fish PINS first, if not, I'll be rolling in from H-Town.

 

Boss is going to the beach that weekend and taking off Friday, which means I can take off that weekend and finally attend the meetup! Yes!!! Yes!!!

Problem is that I know myself, I won't want to work more than half a day on Friday, maybe not even that. Which means I'd be eager to head to the beach a day early but then I wouldn't be able to be part of the lineup..... Which I do want to be a part off....

Damn, what to do?
Sit at home eager all day Friday doing nothing.
Go to work, get nothing done.
Or head to the beach early, set up my tent and gear, enjoy a day alone at the beach, drive back to San Antonio and drive back with everyone else!!!

 

Not sure what we are planning fully yet, have thought about going to Corpus the night before then meet them there to drive the rest of the way. If I take a half day and leave straight from SA your welcome to come hang out Friday night at the casa..

Cool, we'll definitely talk closer to the date and see what we come up with. I'm so stoked for this trip, last year I only made it out to the beach once, this year I've already got about 4 potential trips planned and I intend to get out there as often as work/life allows it.

 

Ya we only made one trip last year as well, basically because of the storm. This looks like a cool trip so I def want to go.

Welp, we all hope to see you out there!

My wife, son and I will more than likely be driving from California. Last year we flew out and we went to the meet in my mom's 2006 (completely stock) 4Runner.
Hopefully some other plans will coincide with this trip!

 

I am def planning on going, I had just got my tacoma last year and read the deets about it, didn’t realize everything soon enough.

 

We're ready for the 14th. Last year was our 1st time on ride and excited for this year's. We'l be camping out on access 6 as we do every weekend starting on April 20th. We'l meet up with the Tacomas at bass pro shop, we enjoy the convoy to SPI. SEE YOU GUYS then

There will be 2 other Tacomas and 1 tundra with us. Anyone wanting to camp with us is more than welcomed, we'll be out there Friday- Sunday

My family and I live in California. We're hoping to make the drive this year in my truck instead of flying in and attending in my mom's 4Runner.

We're hoping to move back to San Antonio by early 2019 though!
