We’ve got one short run of cable to dig in today in the rail yard. I’m climbing in the mini-ex so hopefully we are rolling out of there about 11am to enjoy an easy day lol. How about you?

Good morning Robert, I was about to tag you the other day. I was really considering the prototype pipe from Roostfactor but I decided to stay in line for the regular.

Howdy sir! Yeah i saw that in his thread. Very interesting. I wonder if the scavenging effect is the same as the regular pipe though?

I’m pretty sure the scavenging would be the same but for some reason it just didn’t look as good to me as the standard setup. I wanted it because I could have it now more than anything.

Definitely was a cool setup! i've noticed the merge collector is where all the noise comes from on mine. It isnt too loud, but you can hear it when your cruising along. Believe me i know that feeling all too well lol, either way though, his products are worth the wait! im so glad i got mine early on, that waiting list has grown quite a bit

Does your merge resonate? My Spec-U y-pipe did wicked bad. It was like marbles rattling around under light-medium load between 1500-3000 RPM. But it only did it after I installed the Spec-U headers. It was so bad I sold the Spec-U exhaust and reinstalled the stock Y and cat-back.

I wouldnt say it resonates, but in the mid range rpms, you can hear the exhaust pulses, theyre super quick so it kinda sounds like a water sprinkler 10x fast. Not really sure how else to describe it. I am also running spec-u headers for reference. Also fwiw, any extra noise it adds is outweighed by the much better difference in performance. After running the jfr ypipe, i went back to the stock y for a short period of time, and noticed lots of losses in the low and mid range. Only ran it about a week before switching back to the equal length one
