I agree, thats very appealing. Wonder how long between runs you can wait to let it cool down. I could see heat soak being an issuing if they want to get you out of there

Already been shopping and deciding on a whole setup. That and intake will be next, and probably some NST pulleys. I want to see just how much I can wring out of it NA. Then I’ll probably end up doing a forced induction.

Not sure if it was you i told, or someone else, but URD makes some nice equal length headers. Im running a JFR equal length y-pipe and i cant recommend it enough. Huge difference over stock too. That's a catless setup though so youd want to add another muffler and possibly a resonator (to your catback), or its gonna scream

That’s pretty close to where I’m leaning. May only remove front cats, still Up in the air. I will be using a lot of real estate for a large muffler whatever I do. I want to flow as quiet as possible.

Yeah you know the stock motor might benefit from a set of cats for some backpressure, ive never run mine catless stock so i cant compare

What kinda catback you looking at?

    It is for now

I forsee you going forced induction sooner than later

    I
I’ll do a custom most likely. I’ve always had my exhaust built at a shop in Lockhart. Guy does good work and is reasonable. Still toying with ideas. Probably resonator and fairly quiet muffler but I have had a thing for aeroturbine in the past.

    I resemble that remark!

That will probably sound pretty good. I like the tone two high flow muffler achieves when they are a different brand. It sure does wonders for drone too.

Hopefully its quiet because my truck drones bad on the hwy now. Im running an aFe exhaust and its a side exit under the cab so i think thats why its so loud. Resonates inside really bad at 75-80mph

It should help I would think. I started running multiple mufflers in my diesel days and it would work wonders, I would assume it would do the same here.

Why not a total cat delete to the stock muffler or is it still really restrictive?

Stock muffler is pretty restrictive, but the stock piping is only 2.25" i believe, so that would be the main restriction i think
