So I first thought about making a trailer over a year ago. Got as far as looking up material & part prices.

    Needs to fit Toyota wheels.
Needs to be sturdy enough and shaped to allow use as a general utility trailer to get bulk mulch or gravel type stuff.
    But not a big trailer.
    And, not a heavy trailer.
Would really like to have brakes. Adding brakes seemed to be an expensive aspect though.

I have about a grand into mine. But my sides/top and bottom are waterjetted 12ga. Which accounts for about 1/4 of the cost. The full frame of it is 2x2 steel tubing and a mixture of 10ga, 12ga, and 14ga. In retrospect, it all could’ve been built out of probably 14 and been more than strong enough, but cheaper and lighter. I’d say it’s probably 5-600 pounds empty with wheels/tires on it. Has a drawer system that is the entire length of it with a 500lb rating (also overkill) that pulls out of the back. No brakes because even fully loaded with a tent, I don’t expect it to break 12-1300 pounds. Also expensive.

Building one that would double as a utility trailer would be interesting. Could honestly get a utility trailer and just build a “cap” for it essentially. If I sell this and build another one, I think it’ll be big enough to crawl up into and sleep in. The more I see of trailers like that, the more I like that idea.

DIY muffler hole covers. Not perfect but better than spending $65+ each.

Installed OME shims on rear coils of the 4R. Frame is measuring close enough to level again now. If it sags any more, guess then I'll have to try new springs. Shims were a lot cheaper for now.

Also put my new lower shock mount skids on while I was under there.

Decided I don't like where the 3rd brake light sticks up in my view in the FRS. It's gotta go. Ordered a slim red light bar and gonna make my own bigger, brighter, more out of my own view 3rd brake light.

Also have a roof basket/tray thing for the 4R that should be here soon. Will have to figure out how to mount it to the cross bars I made because based on pictures, don't think I'll like the clamps that come with it.
Baby 5 is confirmed. So, this winter, all 3 rows of seating will be filled and very little interior cargo space will be available. Gotta have my cargo management ideas ready to roll by then.

Made headliner mounted third brake light. No more brick on a pedestal when i look in the mirror now.

Had to make a visor to go under it too. Lit up the whole back interior without it.

15 minutes to install HID kit on FRS. Then 1.5 hours to route and tie up wires just right.

Painted the wheels silver, lugs black, and calipers black. Also finally installed the sideskirts been sitting in garage a couple weeks.

    I agree.
Color matched, black, or carbon fiber wrap though?
The one I really like is too expensive.
Found a different style at a good price that I might do eventually.

I also want a rear diffuser. Have a plan in mind to build one and some scrap sheet metal out in the yard.

Tough part is I want functional benefits, not just style, but I only care about drag reduction, not down force. Most aero is designed for downforce while I just want more mpg.
