I'm sure there's a thread about this somewhere, So I'm thinking of getting one for my "12 however, from pictures that I seen it looks like the filter would have to be installed where the secondary air injection pump is, or am I lookin at it wrong? Any of you guys have it installed on your tacos and what do you think about it?

look I understand cars are designed by PhD engineers who make a lot of money and draw from 100+ years of knowledge/experience resources at their disposal, and tend to make air intakes that suck cold air from places such as directly through the grill, which is not hard to do with plastic routing

But what if I blow $300 on a hot air intake that deletes all that and sucks hot air from inside the engine bay
and then call that a cold air intake
