bump...any chance of pics of the final product?

 

Unfortunately I got a little delay in these... I am still swamped with my group buy orders and I needed to order some stuff for my fixture that will allow me to make a few test sets. I am going to try and hit these next week if possible.

Sorry gents. Been a crazy week from hell... I just got to CA for the holiday so no action until I get back in the 26th. But we will be moving fast on them in Jan so lots of updates after Christmas.

Moving my family to CA has been nuts for me on top of Black Friday. I'll be back in NM the 26th for 4 more months before permanently joining my family in CA and moving Apex to a new location. I'll be jamming out tons of inventory over the next 4 months including a lot of the 3rd gen fog kits for you guys.

Probably TMI but what the hell. Been up since 2AM and just now sitting down in our new (to us) house. Thanks for the support guys!!!!!

 

Congrats on the new house! I can't even begin to imagine how busy you've been, i was thinking just last week how much work would probably be involved in that Black Friday group buy that you and Blake at Cali Raised LED put on .. you guys had a ton of orders. And then on top of that to be moving your family and Apex Fabworks from NM to California and Holidays etc .. YES you been busy !

When I posted this thread I think the group buy was at like 60 orders and I was sure I would get the test ones built... 161 Black Friday orders later and normal sales... ya it just got a little crazy haha. I have the fixture parts on order now and they will be waiting for me when I get back to NM. I will make the test sets right away and then the inventory build 3rd week if Jan. So we should get on track real quick!!!

Agreed. I've got the 2017 TRD Pro. The (highly promoted!) Rigid Industries lights don't do much at all.

I'd like to swap them for something significantly brighter.... but don't want to touch the switches, relays, etc. etc.

If anyone makes that switch, please reply here!

There are some similarities, the obvious one being the face. That's the shape of the bumper so not much can be done there... the big difference is the mounting system so that everything is mounted behind the face and you don't see any of the install hardware.
