Received these bad boys in the mail this afternoon. Very pleased with how they fit and the output! Money well spent!

Decided What the heck... I gotta try and test these foglights out. Are they as bulletproof as they look? Yes Sir. I went to the same areas and did the same crazy stuff Water crossings, jumping, mud slinging. Yup These things are fantastic!

So after over a week, I finally got home and had a chance to test the lights out after dark. I have to admit that I'm not happy with the light output, but I think I have them angled up making them look less powerful. Has anyone tried to adjust the aim of the lights while installed (2011-2015)? Can it be done, or do they have to come off to adjust?

I am sorry to hear that... To adjust them down you will need to remove the mount from the truck to access the LED hardware. Let me know how I can help.

Remember these are spot pods that are meant to shine further out and help you see things that aren't right up on the truck. When I did the test between them and stock I remember honestly feeling indifferent about them at first. But I took pictures of factory fogs and then with the pods. In the pics with the side by side comparison I realized I was able to see a ton of extra stuff I was missing with the factory pods. You get caught up looking at the ground and miss all the new things that are making themselves known to you. After the pics I was convinced. Then as I used them a bit more at night I was able to notice a lot of things and I know they were a good improvement for me. Remember these are only 18 watt pods. A 32" LED bar can range from 150 to 300 watts on the new 5D bars that are coming out.

Ya, I think they are actually pointed up, not level or down. Going to need some fussing. Can you help regarding the desired aim point? How do you have yours adjusted - about how far out from the front of the truck does the center of the spot hit the ground?

This is going to change depending on taste. I have mine set almost straight out and they allow me to pick up a lot of the stuff around me like animals and signs/reflectors and stuff like that. If you are in a more snowy environment then as far down as possible to help see the road.
