Yes and no. They already have upgraded to some 16 watt 5D hyper spot pods. But the 18 watt pods for the fog lights are the better option. The 5D pods are so focused that they aren't good for the fog location. They are good for a set of ditch light mounts though if you are using them to increase your forward light pattern.

So for the Caliraisedled's which is the better option for fogs the 3x2 18W pods or the 2x2 20W pods?

For fogs the 18W pods are more ideal. The 20W pods are a highly focused spot beam. The 18W ones are still a spot but the traditional style reflector scatters the light better. Now for ditch mounts the 20W pods are great if you are trying to direct a specific beam way down the road!

Any update on the ETA for the new batch of updated/new version headlights mounts?

    Good stuff, Chris.

For what it is worth, I've had my original mounts for a couple weeks now. Ran into some heavy fog and rain. I am really happy with them on the road and on the trail. Thanks.

I was just messing with mine yesterday and forgot how much light they add. I was driving around my neighborhood and turning my amber pods on and off to see the differences, I wonder if people thought I was crazy haha. I was almost surprised by how much more light they added. I usually use them in dark open places, but when I did it around the houses I was able to really see how much light they added all around the truck. Especially the amber color made it easy to tell. One of my favorite mods on my truck, and I really mean it!

Hi Chris. I'd like a set of the V2 mounts too.
I bought the original mounts a few months ago and I think the centered adjustable beams will suit my needs better.

Thanks for the quick update Chris. I am looking forward to getting these installed before the snow starts flying here.

Just installed these and I made a basic wiring diagram for beginners like me.

Note: this is for people who's truck did not come with fog lights although a lot of them are wired for them even if the lights didn't come installed from the factory. Check the top row of switches, first on the left to see if you're wired there and then you should just need to find what else you need.

I am almost done with production of the new version 2's. I am hoping to have them to powder on Monday and then I will start taking orders again.

I would be interested in a set for a 2015 with the 18watt LED's. Any chance the free shipping includes us Canadian guys?
