So, tonight when driving I put the climate control knob from cold to hot. Started making a clicking noise. If you back it off max heat just a bit the clicking stops. It does this regardless if my hair is in recirculate or not, regardless if the AC is on or not.

I assume it's some kind of blend door actuator, but I imagine there may be two...one for hot and cold, and the other for recirculation or fresh air.

Anybody have an idea what part number I am after?

Does the temp change Like it supposed to? Is the click from the control panel OR glove box area?

Turns out it was just something that fell from out of the backside of my glove box and fell down into the track of the actuator....pulled it out and it's good to go.

I suppose I'll have to do a little reorganizing of my glove box.

For you guys with the earlier trucks there was also a TSB for one or more of the blend doors to correct a de-gluing problem of the foam seals. Apparently the foam would come unglued and the foam reposition itself and jam some of the doors causing issues with heat-cold air distribution, and I suspect burning out of servo motors.
