Is there a blower fan speed upgrade for my 2nd gen tacoma? when its on high blowing air it feels like that should be on low. I compared it to my buddys 2nd gen on high and its the same way! Anyone fit another moto or upgraded the stock to blow harder?? thanks!!

Have you checked/changed your cabin air filter?

if you use one of those HEPA cabin filters it won't blow as hard as stock.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
You might be able to get a step up transformer and boost the voltage to the motor.

That might cause a very short life span on motors .

look around for 24vdc motor to use with boosted voltage.

DC to Dc step up transformer ?

I have used them on other applications .

Now I am curious to try with a fan motor . I have a variable voltage DC power source

not a very cost effective improvement but possible.

I’ve not heard of such a thing. DC won’t make it to the other side of the winding it will be blocked. Unless you are converting to AC then transforming and then going back to DC?

Search DC to DC transformers I have been using them for years .

I never explored the internals perhaps the do indeed change the DC to AC and back to DC to step up the voltage.

Now something new to explore !

I use the internet and have no idea how it works . I think it is magic .

    perhaps you're thinking of a buck/boost converter?

    They are called DC-DC Converters.
They are not transformers though some use a transformer, most use an inductor (half a transformer). Basically they chop the input DC voltage (make it pseudo AC) and run it through a transformer, or more commonly, use an inductor for the same effect.

I told the purchasing agent what I needed it shows up on my desk.

I am sure it is possible we called things by the wrong terms

I would replace the blower motor resistor
