Hey! I'm new here and just got a DCLB 2023 TRD 4x4. It is almost brand new and shortly after buying it I found that behind the passenger side dash the A/C is making a soft clicking noise (maybe 120-180 rpm). It gets faster if you turn the AC blower up and only comes on when the blower is on. Maybe the refrigerant pressure is low or the compressor is breaking in? I had a 2019 Tacoma (RIP stolen) that did not make this sound. It's quite annoying! Any pointers are appreciated

Most likely the blower motor. They're junk. I fixed mine with super glue & help from my girlfriend. Either buy a new one or take it back to the dealer.
    I'd suggest an aftermarket one.

Yeah, I'll have the dealer take a look at it soon. Thanks

My Taco is an 2021 and never had any issues with noises coming from AC or Blower. I do get some water leaking on the passenger side from under the dash when using the AC but not always probably depends on the humidity outside.

Pull the cabin filter and look in on the blower to see if there's any debris.

My 22 does the same exact thing since the day i got it in march, 50k miles and same issue, its the blower motor. I turn the music up and cant hear it on the highway over the wind noise, drives me insane in traffic, might buy a replacement oem and see if it helps but my 18 didnt do this. I'd go aftermarket for a replacement if the oem wasnt so cheap. Will likely have the dealership install it so i can get it replaced if the new one also does this.

Yeah, just ordered an OEM replacement for like $40. Gonna pick it up today and get another store to install it. Hopefully, it resolves the problem.
