    Hey all.

recently my ac compressor has been rattling when I turn on my fan to heat up my car. When I turn on the fan the clutch sounds like it’s engaging but it’s really loud and there’s a rattling noise that comes from the compressor system. I’m pretty sure it’s the clutch and probably the clutch bearing but I’m not 100% sure. Mostly hoping it’s not the entire compressor.
    Any opinions welcome

Take the belt off and look for play in the clutch to see if you can get by with just replacing that.
