you need to flush that thing out good, dirt and trash to screw up the a/c system, it really does need to be perfectly clean to work right.

mud wasps and bugs like to crawl up inside the tubing and often get trapped in there. I don't know what it is but they cant resist the open ends of tubing.

if the ends haven't been sealed off with a bag or something to prevent the bugs from getting in the tubing then I would look for another one from a still sealed system weather it still had Freon in that system or not.

what is you actual problem why you are changing all this?

Trucks been in a crash core supports bad, hole in condenser,

I'll wash out the new one I get I just want to make sure if I start to tear it all apart that the condenser I'm getting will work,

the only problem I have with this truck is the AC and it makes me want to get rid of the truck, if I can just fix this then I would be one happy camper

So the condenser from a 5lug Tacoma would work in a 4x4 or a pre runner and so on they didn't change any of that ? Including motor types ? 2.4l 2.7l and 3.4 all share the same AC condenser ?

cant say for sure but check the part numbers, a/c condensers are "usually" pretty generic since they aren't cheap parts so manufactures rarely use a bunch of different ones in their vehicles.

one thing of note is the end mounting brackets unscrew from the condenser so swap those out if the new one has plastic brackets

the plastic ones are easy to break, well because they are plastic lol

I think most Toyota's have the dryer built into the condenser, may want to replace the stuff that absorbs moisture before installing it.
