    Friends truck...

Folks, wired situation. New ‘18 OR, we did the A/C drain mod, but there was no condensation dripping out. There was air blowing out, but no condensation. Concerned, we pulled the drain mod off and the OEM drain had no condensation either. The A/C unit was blowing on full blast on max cold for nearly 20 minutes and not a drop. Truck was really cold inside. Discussing the issue, a realization was made... in the 30 days of ownership, very little condensation has been noticed under the truck even before the A/C mod.

    Thoughts?

Planning on taking it to a reliable dealer on Monday since it seems odd.

I wouldn't address a modification unless something is truly wrong.

A/C doesn't pool unless its crazy hot and humid here.

Could be dry air? But Norsemanvike's truck started dripping within seconds of turning on. And the trucks were side by side. Same humidity and heat outside.

The 18 OR was on for 20 minutes, full blast, max AC, not a single drop. The 18 Sport (Norsemanvike's) fires up his truck and literally immediately had water coming out.

    Thoughts on that?

My '16 was like that and about 1 and a half years later it started smelling like cow manure when the a/c was on. Praying I don't have that issue with my new '19 SR. But if I do it will go to the service dept. :)

Can you give more details? One and half later? As in 1 and a half hours later? I've driven my truck for 2+ hours in the high desert, no smell.

Or 1 and a half years later?

I'm sorry. Yes a year and a half later. I live in Illinois and the summers are hot -n- humid. Here are some threads to look through.

AC is draining fine now... Just have been an unusually dry day in SoCal. Glad I'm not having any problems with my AC.
