A/C problems

I have a 2021 tacoma and I put A/C pro specially made for the tacoma however the driver side is cooler than the passenger side, is this normal?

the other day I was sitting in the parking lot and all the sudden air and smoke came pouring out from the driver side and the a/c wasnt getting cold. I was told that the a/c need to be recharged and needed Freon

 

Same thing happened to me. Including the driver's side blowing colder than passenger side.

Turns out I had a VERY slow leak in one of the AC lines. Replaced the line and recharged freon and been good for over a year.

 

is this something I can do myself, or do I need to go to the dealer, I have a warranty on it however I have a deductible?

 

It's an expensive fix..Cost me over $700

I went to the dealer tho. The freon alone is very expensive. So make sure they diagnose it right the first time so you're not stuck doing the work multiple times over

 

Warranty work if u got it . Not an easy fix .
