A/C quit

A/C light was flashing then stopped but still no AC it's a 2014 Tacoma with the 4.0 any help would be appreciated...... already checked relay and fuse both are good I had new headlights installed Thursday and a readjustment this morning he moved the battery to remove the light on the driver side but AC was working when I left the shop came home left about a hour or so ago and bam no AC ‍♂️

Think I'll try the pick up sensor first plus I got a extended warranty when I bought it so I should be good on that also

 

Same issue. AC sporadically failed on my 2013 starting about the 3rd or 4th year of ownership. Replaced relay, checked Freon level........ I just lived with it because it would always start working again. Fast forward to 2020 I ran across this thread https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/a-c-light-blinking-troubleshooting-guide.440200 and learned about the pickup sensor. Did the trick! NO issues for the last 7 months perfect!!!

 

You have the extended warranty? If yes, then just take the truck in for A/C service/repair.

Be done with it and don't monkey about with the A/C refrigerant.

 

Update:the compressor clutch went out everything else is fine he said at my local Taco dealer
