A/C Recirculating Broken?

I’m having an issue with my air not recirculating regardless if the button is pressed and showing on. I can deal with the smells of outside air, but I would like to have the air recirculating so it cools better in the summer.

is there a recirculating door or actuator I need to replace? Like a blend door? I have a 2001 Tacoma pre runner

 

No way to tell look see if you have a cable my 2000 has the cable.

Thanks! I’ll give that a look. It’s been a lot easier finding second gen Tacoma diagrams and instructions for recirculating issues.
