I agree, I had only seen pictures of it on Copart. And when i start to source body panels I’ll take that into consideration and see what my local dealer can do, thanks for the tip!

One of the Best Part of Doing all the Work that a rebuild of this type calls for is You "Know" the Truck and certainly will not be afraid to take care of anything that it may need because you been there done that.

For sure, luckily I don’t have any mechanical issues whatsoever just cosmetic damage. Some of my mods though... not sure anyone could figure out what I did or how I did it:rofl:

No I mean, while it's apart paint the parts and put back together after. Otherwise you have to tear it down again to paint it. You can't do a good paint job with everything on the truck. Simple example.... Fenders... There is a rubber gasket between the fender flares and the fender. If you leave the fender flares on, gaskets get painted too. Etc... You can get away with taping the rear glass and windshield if done right. Door rubbers aren't that bad. The rest gotta come off.

Why not learn to do it yourself?

I hang my panels from the ceiling and shoot the paint up. No bugs or dust can land in the wet paint.

I use a HF sprayer. They work fine.

Contrary to popular belief... the Kicker compC 10” loaded sub DOES fit behind the rear seat. 5 channel Amp goes in tomorrow as well as the headunit and all new speaker wiring. I was able to put the plastic cover back onto the rear seat and it locks back no problem. Eventually going to dynamat the metal and carpet it but for now i padded the metal and bolted the box down so the box doesn’t vibrate.

Hail damage is no big deal. I've always said if I know it's going to hail I'll leave the tacomas out and just collect the check. Maybe new hood. Looks great, nothing is wrong with a project

As an older dude than most on here, it's encouraging to see a young guy tackling a project like this. Good job OP!

As an old body man and fabricator it does my heart good to see a young man tackle such a big project. Truck looks great congrats on all you have done! even if college lands you in a job in some office somewhere just look at all the skills you have learned along this journey! I love seeing folks do this stuff themselves instead of just swiping a card and haveing a grouchy old guy like me do it for them. Kudos to you sir!

Have you tried doing the air in a can and a heat gun for all your dents?

The OP is doing a great job on his truck. I too am a bit older here, and am so impressed that one, he started a project such as this (many wouldn't have even dared too), two that he has so much planned out and three that it's turning out looking great.
I check in constantly for updates.

Two thumbs up my friend :thumbsup:

    Keep those photos coming...

Thanks! And that would be really nice:rofl:

I actually bought a glue pulling PDR tool/kit and got a bunch of smaller dents out, but it won’t do anything to the ones bigger than a quarter

Thank you I appreciate it!! Lots more coming!

I actually bought some black bolt LED’s from oznium.com i think, and drilled 3 holes and bolted them in as well as hot glued them in. Ill get you some pics tomorrow and more detailed info! It was actually really easy
