Got a 2023 SR coming this week. Want to paint the steelies. I painted my 2022 but lived in an apartment at the time so couldn't have it on jackstands. Took a whole weekend to do I had to take the jack the truck up take off each individual wheel and put the spare on as I prepped, painted and let it dry.

Now I live in a house with project space and can do all four wheels at once. I know this has been asked and I've gone and read but still a little confused. Can anyone give me pictures and a step by step short guide on jacking points and how/where to put jackstands please?

I know the front gets jacked up by that circle in the middle near the skidplate but I will only be using the provided spare tire jack is that enough to get it off the ground to get two jackstands under? Should I use a small piece of wood in-between the spare tire jack and the truck so not to damage the frame? Where do I put each jack stand? And people said do not jack the rear from the pumpkin for jackstands, so where do I then?

Sorry for all the questions I know it's been covered but taking a brand new truck with 8 miles on it and putting it on jackstands right away has me wanting to quadruple check everything to make sure I'm doing it properly the prep and painting is the easy part. Thank you

I place the jack stands along the frame between the wheels. It depends on the balance point and where they get in the way.
