Ordered some seat covers a bit ago, was told they would be here near the end of the month.
They showed up yesterday, so after work I cruised down to Costa Mesa to have them installed.
Took under an hour... Great people to work with, and a great product.

    Factory Seat Covers

    Rears being installed

Fronts at home- can't get the picture to go the right direction... @#$%^!!!!

I got a code in recent GB, and I'm about to order some in the next day or two - super pumped!

Did you happen to get the heaters?

No, i live on So. Cal and it rarely gets cold enough to require heated seats. I have heated seats in my other car and the same color seat covers and have never turned on the seat heaters

I did I did order the cell phone and other utility pocket in front of the car seat cover, and it is a very handy place to drop your cell phone while you're driving.

utility pockets... can hold phone, or .45 magazines, or knife, or candy bar. Take your pick depending on your situation and location

I ordered the heaters for mine, but I don't recommend them. Wet Okoles use thick neoprene and it's a very good insulator. By the time you can actually feel the heating pads start to come through (5+ minutes on mine when it was about 10F out) the engine has long since warmed up the cabin, and your body has warmed up the surface of the neoprene. After that they'd get uncomfortably warm within a few more minutes and I would have to turn them off. They'd probably be perfect for leather or vinyl or something like that but with neoprene it's not very useful. I really like the seat covers though - I frequently forget I even have them because they fit like original upholstry.

Dang, those look great! I recently got mine as well, but I wish I'd gotten a darker color than what I did. My truck is Pyrite Mica and I got mine with Taupe in the center and black on the outside, like yours. Maybe I'll sell them in the for sale section here. I know I'd take a hit on them, but then I could get a color that matched my truck better.

Anyway, enjoy those bad boys! I really love the feel of them and I was happy with how PERFECTLY they fit. :)

What color are you considering other than Taupe for your Pyrite Mica exterior, grey interior? I have the same truck and trying to id the right color over the Internet has been what has been holding me back from the purchase.

Thanks for this insight, brother - you just pushed me over the edge to NOT get the seat heaters. I had been on the fence about it, but with plenty of aftermarket solutions, I can always add a more effective system into the seat down the line. One big thing was just the 'on/off' selector position for the heating element that they use, as opposed to a dial where you can control heat.

Again, thanks for taking the time to comment!

Bah, I don't know. It's tough with our color, and I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.....it's a frickin' chameleon. It looks brown in certain light, grey in other light and OD green in other light. The taupe looks pretty good to me sometimes, but mismatched at other times. One of my friends says I'm being waaaay too anal and that it looks good. I guess if I were to switch, I'd get a gray color, but than again, I'd probably regret that in certain lights as well.

I think the taupe would look good all the time with a number of Tacoma colors, but to me, Pyrite Mica isn't one of them.......usually. LOL

Mine were $330, but they're yours for $220. Had them for 1 month, fresh from Hawaii. ;-)

OK, I'm sure it's against the rules to sell outside of the For Sale section, so I'll quit it.

No problem, glad I could help! I'd recommend just going without for a winter to see what you think. The cost (in time and money) of messing with seat heaters would go a long ways towards a quality remote start system. I think that's on my list for next fall.
