A few questions for you 4runner people (3rd gen)

My cousin in San Diego is looking for a 3rd gen 4runner (4x4, V6, 5spd, with diff lock) and he thinks he wants to buy stock and mod to what he wants.

H wants a 2-3'' lift, the front struts I understand, but how are the rear coils held in place? I assume it's a simple coil and spring replacement for the rear?

Also, all armor for the 1st gen taco will fit the 3rd gen 4runner correct?

 

front suspension is the same as a first gen taco. rear is simply a 4 link with panhard with coils and shocks. and no armor is not the same
