    Hello tacomaworld,

I bought my 06 trd OR in 2010 with 22k miles. Found this site and looked at many build threads for ideas and had a great time doing it.

Sunday January 13th I lost traction on all four wheels went sideways, hit the embankment and landed on my driver's side. I had a goose egg on the back of my head and a sprained finger so I'd say I came out okay. Had a short er visit for a cat scan and got discharged soon after.

The truck was totalled with 59k miles, but I'm happy to be okay. It rough losing my truck. The check from the insurance company was only 4k difference from what I bought it for. That enabled me to purchase a 2019 mag gray trd sport manual trans.

I am again looking forward to build threads for ideas and I'm looking into going for a 6 inch lift this time around. Thanks for being great tacomaworld.

WoW! Glad to hear you walked away! I was an EMT for a few years and have seen my share of carnage so its cool you are still kicking! The new truck looks great did you get the tech package? I sprung for it and its crazy the amount of safety built into the new Tacoma.

So tipping over one truck has led you to want even less stability? I'd go back and re-do those CAT scans, brother.

Id say he should invest in tires before they are as bad as the blue trucks tires....

Also, OP, congrats on the new truck
