A how to on painting your stock rims....

That's awesome bro. I've been wanting to do that to my rims too but never really knew how. How many cans of primer and black paint did u use for the whole project?

 

How long does the paint last or plasti dip?
The OEM coating is bubbling on my 08 TRD Sport wheels due to the salt on the roads up here in NY.

I don't think i want to spend the money to powder coat them.
Which paints are the best and longest lasting?

Every thread I see on this gets me that much closer to doing it. I have the paint, but right now it's cold out.

 

Nice write-up. I was lazy and left my wheels on, just covered the calipers/drums with paper, then stuck cards around the lip of the wheel. Used regular masking tape to get the effect I wanted.

Can you post some pics with a view of the full truck? I have pretty much the same color body and want to get the full picture of what it will look like with black wheels.
