Now that I know I need different wheels, I'm looking for inexpensive options.

If anyone in the Philly area has a set of wheels to sell or trade for my current wheels, let me know.

I am also looking for non- Toyota wheels that will fit these 16" tires. I was thinking of getting my current wheels powder coated gloss black, so the same would go for my "new" set.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Another question, is it possible to install a post-rear on my truck? I have a V6 auto, dbl cab, 5' bed.

Craigslist is always a good source for used wheels when guys upgrade and sell their stock ones.

You'll have better luck with your searches if you search for limited slip or LSD.

Simple wheel spacers would solve the rubbing issue.

I hadn't thought of that, but the tires will start to go beyond the flares.

Nah,you can actually just buy 1/4 inch spacers. I did this years ago on my new 96'Tacoma when I put aftermarket wheels on.

I decided to pass on using spacers, too many safety issues. Instead I looked for wheels that would fit the truck. After a couple of weeks searching the usual places, a set of four 2006 wheels w/tires and center caps came up on CL for $100.00. I happened to see it 20 mins. after posting and was first to respond and got them!! :dancingbacon:The finish is peeling, but I plan on powder coating or painting them gloss black, which ever is affordable. The tires are in decent shape and match the spare. ( 245/75R16). Yes chuck0412, I will def. be painting the green black as well.

So now I know why I have all of the 'half-assery' going on under the blower motor!
I have been dealing with taped & dangling wires since I have been driving the truck...
    IMG_5372.jpg
I'm always telling passengers to watch out for the wires or re-connecting them after they get out. This has finally become an issue because I decided to change the cabin air filter.
    IMG_5367.jpg IMG_5368.jpg
Besides all of leaves and dirt, the diverter door also came out. I was going to remove the motor but noticed the screws were not factory and one was clearly improvised.

    IMG_5373.jpg IMG_5376.jpg IMG_5374.jpg IMG_5375.jpg
After checking the Haynes manual and You Tube, I have the wrong motor installed by the previous owner. My real problem is the connector. The 05' connector is 90° further away from the cut and soldered wires. I'm afraid to take this motor out for fear of not having any A/C for who knows how long! I can go without the diverter door being installed.
Any help sourcing the proper connector would be awesome! Yeah, I could extend the existing crap, but would rather have the proper plug installed.

Ok, got a lot done today.
Picked up the parts from Team Toyota and got them installed. While I had the motor out I cleaned the ducts. Since the old motor fit so well, could it be a 1st Gen? The green screw does absolutely nothing.
    IMG_5397.jpg IMG_5389.jpg
Cut the tape off and found the connections were burned and melted. I think when the wires were knocked off, they would short out until re-connected.
    IMG_5388.jpg IMG_5386.jpg
Tested the wires to make sure the fan would not run backwards.
    IMG_5394.jpg
    Everything in place.
    IMG_5395.jpg
I tried putting the damper door back in place, but I will have to take the dash and all of the hvac ducts apart.

Also started painting the wheels. Last week I primed them w/Rustoleum brush on. It saved me about $30 in spray. Today Rustoleum black hammered finish went on, the first of two coats.
