I guess I should show a picture of the actual rear bumper.

Battle Tested! 3 for 3 so far. It is solid! I was not with out my doubts but after hooking and pulling 3 half ton trucks out of deep sand with a 10,000 pound come along, I am thinking this bumper/winch plate is ready for a 8Kish winch.

I usually come off sounding like a jerk...am just a crotchety old bastard...was playing along with your "scary" title.

Was thinking the weld under the yellow arrow would pop.

Looks like the d-shackle mount is welded to the front plate?
The mount looks long making for better leverage to bend from a side-ways pull.
Seems like it might be better if it was tied into the side of the winch mount plate.(red box)

    Sounds like it works.
Guess its a 2 part bumper and the over part makes the winch part strong...

    /cheers

Why did u cut again? Very beefy bumper. Looks much better after u cleaned up the cut.

FYI: I like your garage bike storage. Gonna have to do that for my bikes to get my truck back in garage. I have 10' ceiling in garage so hoping bikes clear the truck.

I picked up the grill on Amazon for like 80 bucks. I liked the way it looked but it was really easy to see through so I added the TOYOTA letters.

Best thing about this bumper is how it pushes the pin striping bushes to the side out here. If you are not going for looks alone, it is not a bad option at all. I didn't want to give my true opinion until I actually battle tested it. And, ... I don't think it is any uglier than me.

I got the Cali Raised Off road any time camera on the way! Gonna have to adapt it to this bumper/grill setup. I will show some photos etc.
