Could be the coolest place in America actually, Mission Inn.

 

Every year my wife and I mean to go to the christmas lighting here, and every year we remember it was the weekend prior

 

We have been there during that time, few years back, it was really special. I haven't been there lately so I hope it all is well.

 

Well, I updated the front bumper. Still working on the setup but so far I am liking it.

 

Cleaned up the truck, I still have to get the new bumper skin caps dialed in so I can take off the band aids.

 

So far the new bumper is getting 3mpg's more than the old one, who would have figured?

The Rotunda, rumor has it that Chuck Norris often stays somewhere down there.

 

There’s always a lot of empty little offices and stuff at the bottom. If Uncle Chuck scuttles out from one of them creaky doors, I’ll give him a high five for his MIA films I adored as a child.

 

By the way, I was saying, the Victory 4x4 bumper is getting me 2.5-3 more mpg over the Body Armor Desert bumper. I am back up to about 17mpg, I was down in the 14's with the BA. I no longer have the winch installed and I am down close to 100 pounds on the nose of the truck. I didn't mean to say it was getting 3mpg over the stock bumper.

 

I wish 100lbs of weight reduction gave 3mpg, you silly silly goose

 

I would think it is the aerodynamic upgrade but what do I know...lol.

 

Any chance your boots have been filled with helium post install? Just seems like a big jump when both bumpers still showcase our vaguely brick shaped trucks' face to the wind

 

I got an extra bumper skin to replace the caps but, after cleaning up the trim, I think I'll take my time with the caps.

 

I guess it's not really too scary. Happy Halloween!
