    Here is a pic of my gap, matter of fact it is the same on the other side. If need be I can lower it. The hole where the bumper attach to the frame are pill shape. So I can drop it another inch if need be.

    When we put the bumper on it would not fit close, upon looking we noticed the upside down "U" shape sheet metal below the headlight was hitting the bumper light opening's. We notched the "U" and the bumper slid right in and can bring it up tight to the body, or let it drop about and inch and a half.

    Thanks to Longhorn asking the question and silverbacks answer, notching these was no big deal. Todd took these and had them done, still need to install.

    This piece of sheet metal behind bumper was scratched up bad, I think this was hidden by old bumper. So I pulled it and painted it with that Krylon BBQ black paint. Now with the grill on when you see this piece it looks like part of the bumper itslef.

    Ya I know I need to post the full shot, I will head back out.
    For those who get this bumper, when putting it together, DONT tighten any screws, put it all together on the ground then tighten. The side pieces fit under the lip on the main center section, the instructions pics tell this but they are bad.
    Install the fogs lights before you put the bumper on, if you can. It can be done when installed, but drop the light nut, like I did and it is a pain to find.
    My bottom two screws that mount into the frame piece, lined right up no shims.
    I am not done yet, have a bunch of wire to run, and minor pieces to install.

    when you cut them, the sides you can cut angled back instead of a straight up/down cut. We seen this when we got them back.

    The gap is the same on the other side, funny thing, the side pieces if you look down at them the curved area. Mine is off about an 1/8th inch, but most people who see this won't have a clue, and they would have to run side to side to check,
