    Back to the thread.....

Oil cap is aluminum...fresh from TRD. Dealer changed the oil and “misplaced” the filler cap, none in stock. So I said the one in the display case will do, so they did.

I think the SA was feeling a bit stupid that they lost the oil cap. They could have gone to any one of the 50 Tacoma’s on the lot and used it to replace mine....but that would mean they would have to remember which one they took it from.

Hong Kong was always fun....been there about a dozen times (Navy). Was there on business about three years ago and then went to Singapore. Two of my favorite spots on earth unless it’s Europe or fishing in the Eastern Sierras.

Yeah Singapore was on my list too. But with all the drama who knows. When things get better I'm going back to Japan. That's my favorite spot. Fuckin beautiful

I haven't seen the world, but I've been around the block and back. Hong Kong stands out as unique in all my travels.
Had a buddy slip through there literally last week, leaving Manila and heading into the PRC, but he and his crew were restricted to their hotel rooms.
Like other places at present, you have to pass through the COVID-19 gauntlet before setting foot on mainland China.

Not worth typing out the saga, but what was supposed to be a 30 day gig in total ended up taking them more than 30 days just to reach shore.
(via air travel, to be clear)

I agree, and haven't and won't spend any money to increase performance for my C7 Grandsport. 3.6 seconds from 0-60, 180>185 mph top speed and magnetic ride control that allows it to stick to the road like it's on rails is good enough for me.

Top down? That’s a wild ride! Beautiful car....been toying in getting the new Vette. That would mean the wife would have to park her Macan outside or the Taco gets cycled....or a 4 car garage.

4 car garage is always the right choice. Provided the HOA and spousal unit (and pocketbook) all agree.

I’d be vetoed on two of three.

Billet aluminum, and yes they can get hot...i got one on my Honda Pilot that's also aluminum and it's on the actual valve cover and yes...hot. The 3.5 Tacoma engine has a thermoplastic extension and helps .I love the look over plastic, durability and heat dissipation.

I can hear it now....now you want a Vette?, yes, get the Vette and a new house while you’re at it with a 4 car garage.

So a new Vette would cost me about $1.1M...still cheaper than a divorce!

I wore all that stuff as a kid haha, now I wouldn’t even touch it. Even considering peeling the m3 badge off the back so nobody knows what it is
