Are you disappointed in me for a trading in my Tacoma to get a 4Runner?

I never started on them. Everything I've owned has been from Japan.

Someone needs to take my credit card from me lol. I just bought some floormats off of Temu purely because they look like TuxMat knockoffs and I want to see what actually shows up :anonymous:

It was a bit earlier than that for me...around '82. GM is dead to me.

My last one was a Chevy Citation. I think I paid a couple hundred for it. Far
    more than it was worth.

Ida had a 2006 Saturn Vue that had 258k on it when we got rid of it. Mechanically it was strong. Didn’t burn a drop of oil. Electricity it was dying. And the problems were in the harness not individual components.

that said she got a 2008 Chevy Equinox next that that was a horrible mess. Especially the Aisin transmission. It developed a small leak and was a pain to top off. She is much happier with her new Tacoma.

I had too. Then my dad bought an '80, 3/4 ton GMC - heaviest suspension, big radiator, trans cooler, bigger alternator, 350/4 bolt mains. All set up to carry a camper. Engine developed a knock less than 500 miles out of warranty (2400 miles warranty?). Spun rodbearing, 2 cam lobes worn severely/associated lifters the same, a couple of cylinders so oblong they couldn't be honed, all valve guides shot. Told my dad it was abuse, then it was the oil we used. Both arguments refuted. GM fought my parents for over 3 years over coverage, finally forced to pay under threat of a lawsuit. I swore I'd never sully my driveway with another GM product and haven't.

    Gov should've let them die.

The Vue had a Honda drivetrain.

That's why it worked for a quarter million miles. Lol
