Are you disappointed in me for a trading in my Tacoma to get a 4Runner?

Yeah, they've gotta step it up with the new rangers, gm twins, and taco hitting the market. The titan dying probably drove that home for them.

My plans haven't changed, I really would like to hang on to my truck until it's paid off, but if something bad happened and it got totaled I would probably go with a new dclb Pro4X as it's replacement

Go for an extended test drive to be sure. 20 hours in a Frontier effed my back. Learned that I hated the steering wheel controls as well. Very unfortunate because the powertrain is fantastic for a midsize. If the Taco performed the way tge Frontier does, but all else remained the same... I wouldn't be in a ferd.

I’d say something about a bunch of Nissan fan boys in here but based on how the new Tacoma and tundra launch is going, I’ll allow it.

    and keep my 2019 forever.

its pretty nice. not really any significant changes from my 2024 aside from the small bump in power, which I'll likely do at some point anyway. now if we found out they secretly modified some engine internals... its gonna be a much bigger upgrade.

I wish they would stop changing the trims every year

Saw one of these the other day.
Think I'd rather go for a spin in one of them.

The inline 6 in those sounds soooo good, too. Love the idea of it, but where I live it's utterly impractical.

I had my name on one of them and backed out for the GRC.

you still can't tune a 6/2020 supra without shipping your ECU off to some place overseas for a partial unlock.

I've got 90% the performance for $20k+ in savings. I can get that other 10% pretty easily once I start down the mod road.

warranty work is also a very weird situation on those from what I've seen on the forums. it's Toyota badged but a significant number of BMW parts and some people have had issues as Toyota doesn't stock the parts or know BMWs and BMW doesn't want to work on it cuz its not a BMW.
