Are you disappointed in me for a trading in my Tacoma to get a 4Runner?

    Same.

Until about 5 months ago I was on pace for rotates/oil changes every 2 months

At what interval is it recommended to rotate tires?

Oh there will be some mods all right
I have always been under the impression it was every 5,000 miles which is when I do my oil changes.

If you just got new tires slightly more often, you wouldn’t need to rotate them!

Do you put on lots of highway miles and drive responsibly? Because I do one of those things lol. Full throttle is and always has been a lifestyle for me. Not only am I always flooring it but I tow my boat somewhat frequently. And then as far as the tires are concerned even though I don't own a Miata anymore I still attempt to drive like I do so I figured the least I can do is rotate the tires often.

Depends on the day lol I do tire rotations more regularly now as all the miles on gravel will chew them up and also it’s no fun if you get a flat and can’t get the rim off.

Majority of the miles on my tundra these days are with the boat in tow. Did the last oil change at 12,000 miles

Sent a sample into backstone and everything was looking good and they said I could extend it even longer with no worries.

will probably send in a sample from the taco next time we do it. It’s got about 155k on it now with every change at 10k

I also run amsoil signature in everything.

Sounds like my system should be fine then since I usually do about 5000 miles a year.

As someone who wears long sleeve shirts pretty much year round, I decided to go to today's races wearing a short sleeve shirt instead. My arms are.... warm lol.

Today I heard through the hypothetical grapevine that allegedly eibach is developing a 2.5 inch shock for the Tacoma

Lol nah. Not available yet and even if they were I plan on matching my rears whenever the 6112s are done for (which probably isn't too far in the future honestly)

I thought they already had one.
Some sites vary in their product descriptions, when it comes to lift height of shocks. I.E. This site tells you 2". That site tells you 2.5"
    Can get confusing.

I was looking at Eibach because I was looking at FOX, 1st.
Then I discovered Fox uses Eibach springs, so why not just get Eibach?
Then the wisco crew had me sold on Dobinsons until they came out with the MT64'S and that's where I landed.
Was a year long rabbit hole.

I'm not talking 2.5 in of lift, I'm talking 2.5 in sized shock. Currently eibach only offers a 2.0 shock
