Are you disappointed in me for a trading in my Tacoma to get a 4Runner?

Haha! I used to stay up that late. Not so much anymore.

Yesterday, I got up around 6:30 and my neighbors were still up from the night before.

Not that I've never stayed up all night. Just not in the last 10 or 15 years, lol.

Hmm. TIS says otherwise, but TIS was also partially populated by a drunk Mexican at 2:30 am so there's that. :drunk:

I guess I'm not 100% sure about all of the Lexus models. But, the 4Runner only offered X-REAS on The Limited trim, and KDSS was only available on the ORP and possibly the off-road.

You are correct about junking X-REAS when it starts leaking, though. Cool concept, but not worth the cost to replace.

On the other hand, I can go home pretty soon and have 9 hours in.

It does come with a sticker though.... :boink:

Now that you mention it, I remember having a conversation with a manager about how TIS shows X-Reas available for SR5, but parts says they never came with it, and that was one of my early encounters with TIS being completely wrong.

    Good stuff.

Well, inflation has struck again! My go-to rustproofing place has jacked up their prices. I'm still going to be a customer of theirs because they do a great job but definitely a bit disappointing.

Lol, failure to plan is planning to fail. I maintain every vehicle like I'm going to keep it for 10 years so if I do end up keeping it that long it's still in good shape and I can assure you that there is no vehicle on the road in my neck of the woods that is free from rust after 10 years unless it was rustproofed or never driven in the winter.

For reference, here's 8 yrs of not applying anything.
It has been parked in a garage, though.
Welds and bolts take a beating.
