Are you disappointed in me for a trading in my Tacoma to get a 4Runner?

Not a chance I’d ever allow one of those in my vehicle!

I did one of the app based ones through my insurance during covid but it got removed afterwards when I started driving more regularly. Not a fan of 100% precise location requirements

I beat @Pixeltim, I had more than ten by junior yr!

I drove truck for 35yrs, need I say more?

Funny thing is everytime I got pulled over in the big truck, it never bothered me.

To this day, when I get pulled over in my pickup I always get nervous no matter what it is.

1 time, ticket for speed, many, many years ago. 2002 SS Camaro, bright red, full Hotchkis suspension, some performance upgrades, full limo tint, definitely hauling. :burnrubber:

I was given a pass for the full limo tint and a reduced speed ticket. :humble:I miss that car sometimes.

If I didn't remember to put the new sticker on my plate (when that was a requirement), I probably didn't remember to put the new registration paper in the vehicle either.

It was 2a.m. back in 2001 when my buddy and I left the bar to head back to my place and smoke some herbs. (like we really needed it at that point after drinking gin most of the night).
I reached for a CD and swerved over the line and an oncoming car had to also swerve to avoid me.
That other car happened to be a Lincoln County squad car.
So I did what any sensible person with a head full of gin would do and stepped on it! :burnrubber: Trust me.
    They will follow.

I wasn't far from the house so we ripped down my road and into the driveway. I'm pretty sure we were both out of the car and running toward the backwoods, before I even had it in park.:blahblah:
From here things get a little fuzzy as I passed out in the woods. When I woke up I had no idea where I was. Well, I thought I was out by the golf course, which is nowhere near the house.
It was 5am at this point and the officers found me 3 houses down at the neighbors, asking them how to get back to my house.
They never knew about my buddy nor did they find him.
I still blew a 34 and ended up with both OWI and DUI plus fleeing an officer.

I never got a drinking and driving again.

Well, first ever day of attending rally racing is in the books. What a memorable, mixed bag of events  highlights, lowlights, screaming, laughter, bootleg hotdogs, fantastic.

We got to our spot early to ensure we had a good view. They ended up being behind on the schedule so we hung out for quite a while. I thought being surrounded by fellow motorsports enthusiasts I'd feel at home (and as the evening went on I did) but initially no one including the volunteer staff was friendly at all. Also our spot we picked wasn't as good as we initially hoped both because the racers weren't going as hard as it seemed they could have been (verified by the fact that a redneck volunteer worker in a crewcab hd Silverado absolutely sent it) and the fact that because we were across the road/race path we were stuck until the very last rally car had finished their race. Lastly, the second portion of the races got cancelled because of how dusty it was. The wind died down and it just hung and all the rally lighting could do nothing against the dust. Now I know that might all sound like it was a lamer of a time but it actually was a blast. There were some awesome and unique cars. Just hanging out in the woods is always a good time and add in good company and intermittent race cars coming through and it's even better. One guy later in the evening started selling hotdogs and like a fifth of the crowd including my group practically ran over there to get some warm food. I don't think it was up to health codes but that's okay lol. The crowd became rowdy and hilarious on the night stage because it was cancelled and I won't type all the shenanigans that went on to make it so memorable and fun but one example is someone asking a volunteer if they could cross to go back to their vehicle and the volunteer said only if you're a car and without hesitation like 15 of us all starting making our own unique car sounds
