Are you disappointed in me for a trading in my Tacoma to get a 4Runner?

He is already banished to Middle Michigan. Not sure it can get much worse. Maybe take away his cheese allowance?

Not familiar with the term Middle Michigan, is that some kind of perjorative about central Wisconsin? Also, how dare you ever consider taking away a man's cheese allowance. That sir is tantamount to treason!

Wisconsin is a myth. Doesn't exist. It's just Middle Michigan by another name.

Seeing that it isn't even the end of March yet, there's plenty of time to re-allocate funds! :spending:

Doesn't sound very wise if yearly allocations can be run through by mid March!

Isn’t that how all places do their budget? You blow through it in the first quarter and the rest of the year everything you buy is out of budget

@LarryDangerfield, just tell yourself a light bar would be much cheaper than a 4th Gen. See how easy it is to justify?

Oh there will be some mods all right
I'm not worried about blinding people because they are only meant to be used alongside the brights and ditch lights. So even if they were aimed properly people would still be getting blinded by all the other lights.

At least the LED color is better, but if you want them to shoot farther I would suggest mounting them on ditch light brackets in aiming them down the road. You can always mount additional lights on the side of the dish light brackets to be actual ditch lights.

    Yeep

    Just the first 'M' :anonymous:

I mean low slung fog lights aren't meant to shoot light out at a distance. The idea is that they shoot light under your normal sight line so you can see the road in adverse conditions. I know some people mount them higher up as ditch lights and whatnot but I use mine as fog lights in both trucks and they are utterly fantastic.

I was skeptical myself that lights mounted in the fog location could shoot further than my headlights but I was told by the retailer that they would. Oh well, I guess having the road lit up in the same uniform color is still cool plus if one and or both headlights ever go out I will have the driving lights as backup. I'm still going to double check how they are aimed though to see if I can get any improvements
