Are you disappointed in me for a trading in my Tacoma to get a 4Runner?

Lol. I will preface this by saying they needed to be vacuumed before I did the whole in and out with soaking wet boots thing today. As you can see in the one picture there was standing water in them so they are definitely waterproof. And the coverage definitely protected my carpet. I got the mud mixture that was created out after quite a few paper towels. And this is how it looks now. It needs to be vacuumed one more time and then wiped down again and it should be pretty decent.

IS it hard to pull them out to clean them? or is it more a permanent install?

Without any modifications it's super easy installation and removal. I put those plugs that you can see to cover the hold downs on the driver side because I don't like having open holes for salt to fall in. I seal them up with silicone so if I want to remove the floor mats I have to pop the plugs off and then reseal. That's why I was putting a little more effort towards cleaning them while they are in the vehicle but if you don't mind the holes for the hold Downs then they come out super quick and easy. For example the passenger side I literally just took out in like 2 seconds.

That is the temporary location for my remote start until they send me another smartphone module. I didn't feel like zip tying and tidying up properly until everything was here and working
