Most of my nieces and nephews do/did.

 

I’ve lived in places where we had cockroaches as pets. Hotdogs go in buns, Mac n cheese on the side, no catsup or BBQ touches cheesy noodles. Possibly because I’m Italian by heritage and anything other than my Nana’s sauce on the ‘sketti is akin to heresy.

 

Alright, now we have a conversation!

I do really enjoy BBQ sauce. I even tried a little Saz's (local BBQ, good shit!) on the Mac and cheese and it's fine, also.

But, for whatever reason, I like ketchup on my mac and cheese, or eggs and hashbrowns, sometimes.

 

The fact that you called it "sketti" nullifies any Italian heritage you claim to have. Besides, lasagna is just cheesy noodles with chunky ketchup to start with.

 

And yet, my diff has been submerged numerous times without any issues.

No, they like BBQ sauce.

If you're going to be snooty about pasta, Mac and Cheese is probably off the table altogether.

If hot dogs go in buns, what goes in the bun with them?

Hint: ketchup

 

I just don't like ketchup on it's own. For anything. It just tastes wrong to me. Now, mix with some mayo for fry sauce, use as a base for BBQ, or mix with mustard and honey on a hot dog on a bun and I'm fine with it. Just by itself I do not care for it.

 

I don't eat it on its own.

It's not even my favorite condiment. But, it just works on Kraft mac and cheese when I'm feeling ghetto.

 

Not to derail a thread, but if you want awesomeness, try this...

Liverwurst on toast with onions and brown mustard. Yum

 

As a lone condiment. It should never be unaccompanied, as it is the toddler of condiments.

 

That description of lasagna is a war crime. I have nothing else to say on that topic.

I’m just not a fan of cheese and ketchup touching each other on almost anything. Even BBQ is pushing it. Whatever you heathens do is fine but I frown at your life choices LOL.

See now this is culinary art. I’m not German enough to really dig it, but I can respect it.

Edit: don’t take any of the ketchup posts seriously, I’m here just talkin smack to pass the time. Something something trade for a 4th gen I’m obligated to post that I think.

Ain't never seen ketchup as an ingrediant of bbq sauce, so you lose that argument!

My ketchup has no sugar added, so there's that!

Mayo does have it's place, although very limited it works there!
