Looks like a good all-weather tire. I’ve been buying some electrical products out of India lately and they have all been very nicely made. I wish them well in cracking the market if they offer a good product. Time will tell.

They don't look like a bad tire. I mean, I feel like just a couple years back Falkens were this way but now they exploded and are a super popular tire because of their once "cheap" price for being good. But now they cost as much as Toyos and other big brands. I personally love seeing reviews like this come in.

The company Vredestein has been around for more than a century. I would not consider it an 'off brand' any more than some others that have name recognition.

A large tire retailer with stores throughout most of the western United States carries this brand and tire. Overall, it has good reviews, and the tread pattern is similar to the Cooper Discoverer AT.

It CAN depend, for instance my 04 camry I bought off my dad has "off label" coopers made specifically for discount tire (what the dude at the store told me). Coopers aren't all bad, I mean they've lasted ok (which is all my dad cared about), and they seem to be a little more slick in the rain than my defenders (which is mostly what I care about) but I can't really compare fwd front wheel traction to rwd front wheel traction fairly, I'm a fan cause my truck handles pouring rain and puddles like they aren't even there with the t-h's. Course not fair to compare truck to car either. So we'll see after I replace the front tires...but they still got good tread and that's not 400-500 I'm gonna drop months early just out of curiosity XD

Thats Pirelli you are thinking off.

As another poster mentioned about Falken. I bought a set in 86 and Falkens claim to fame was they were a knock off of the Pirelli P's at half the price. They were good tires.

I doubt the Vredsteins are bad tires, I'm partial to Toyo myself but having had shit Goodyears, shit Goodrich, shit Coopers, I dont consider the price of the tire to be a good indicator of quality.

My 2 cents: plan your purchase and fish for rebates or offers and buy USA made tires. That is just me. I have been planning on buying tires for the last 6 months and found a $200 off coupon (that seemed too good to be true on ebay) and bought 4 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss ats for $800. That is $50 less per tire.

I just did the exact same thing. Also seeing these forum trolls in the last couple pages, jumping to conclusion about these being cheap tires just because they don't recognize the brand... guess nobody taught them not to judge a book by it's cover.

I've run Vredestein Sprint Classic tires on my 1962 Triumph TR3 for many years. These NL-produced tires have been terrific. Dunno about their more modern stuff, but in the vintage sportscar world, Vredestein are well-respected.

Vredestein are awesome tires and are in many industries from trucking, agriculture, mining, OEM, etc. In respect to tires of the Tacomas size it has the highest speed rating. I own a couple sets and have been more pleased with them. @Torspd has had good experiences with them as well which lead me to invest in them.

I did see a couple H rated tires over 30", but that's all - most of them are R, S or T, same as others in the category
