    Hello,

I tried to post before, but must have messed it up.

We just got a "New to us" 2012 Tacoma. I have never owned a Japanese vehicle before, but at least this was made in Texas.

    20141128_154953_zps181a4ddd_ea96cad9ac284d78994a50387a17820380aeedba.jpg

This is the V6 with the six speed manual trans, 4 x 4 obiously. This truck is amazing. It rides like a nice car, but can take abuse once it leaves the pavement.

Reading here to find the wheel I want to let you know those are the 16 x 8 Pro Comp 7089 and yes, they fit like a glove. One shop tried to sell us 17 inch wheels as they CLAIMED the 16s would not clear the brakes. Let me tell you, they were wrong. We went with the General Grabber AT 165/70/16 as we thought a stock size would be perfect....and it seems it was. That is really the only mod we have done so far.

I sent that photo to my wife and the response was "You ARE washing that when you get home".

Anyway, I have a lot of questions as I am starting to dig into the truck. There seem to be a lot of plug and play things that are tied into the wiring harness. I will post that in another forum.

I am glad to have found this board. I have already gotten some great ideas and information here.
