A note to the Tool stealing thief in my neighborhood

Three weeks ago someone stole my channel locks from my home. Yesterday I see that they must have had a change of heart because they returned them by hiding them under the socket set in my tool bag. What a dirty trick to pull on an old man... but thank you for returning them none the less.

 

We call them neighbors in my town. We borrow and return regularly. Heck I sometimes call around to see who has my torque wrench as it goes down the street two or the borrows before I mis it!

 

I think i know who did it. He's hiding in the bathroom above the sink

 

not sure if you're serious... did you just not see them because they were under the socket set and you're making a joke, or did they really go missing and then get returned? In any any case, thieves suck. And the irony is I'd pretty much loan just about any tool to any neighbor if they simply asked. Heck, hat's how communities and good neighborhoods are built. The thieves tear those neighborhoods down.

 

The bastard in my neighborhood has gotten at least three of my 10mil sockets... A special place in hell, I tell ya.

 

3 that’s all. Your lucky. I think that’s all my neighbors steal is 10MM sockets. I can never find one and if I do and set it down it’s gone when I need it 2 mins later. Sneaky bastards

 

Somebody stole my pants. They must have needed them more than I do, but my pants WTF?

Well they where rusty as fuck and the plastics torn on the grips so I didn't see the sense in keeping them.

 

Talk about a pick pocket. They took them from my unlocked vehicle. Lock your vehicle.

 

Bastage had a pair of my favorite cheater glasses for damn near two weeks. Finally returned 'em, just under the edge of the bed.
If I find the prick that had my spud bar for over a year, then put it behind the air compressor, I'm gonna kick'm in the grapes.
I've never owned a 10mm socket longer than a week...

 

I had a 17mm socket and extension stolen 2 years ago,
but just last week changing plugs I found the trickster had antiqued them a bit,
gave it a nice mild rusty patina, and placed it carefully underneath my brake reservoir, and covered it with a few leaves.
what a nice guy tho...to give my tools a little oak leaf blanket

 

You think that's bad? The sumbitch in my neighborhood will steal my tools, wait till I buy a replacement, and then put it back in it's place so now I'm stuck with two! And I know I checked to see if it was in it's usual place

 

I do not have any pictures of my missing 10mm sockets

 

Did the thief steal them also?

I didn't know what a Stoffle was, so I had to google it... That little dude is something else.

 

That happens to me all of the time. Sneaky Bastids! They take my wallet and keys. Hell, they even take my ability to remember sometimes.
