    Some of us go to great lengths to eliminate chrome, and you add more?!

    Hahahaha…..yup!

    Actually, I ordered the gauges to get as close to the factory gauges as possible. With Speedhut gauges you can specify the pointer style, pointer color, lettering style, lettering color, backlight color, etc, etc. Pretty cool.
    I picked silver for the bezel color (like the OEM gauges) but they came in brighter than I was expecting. Oh well, at least they match the vent trim rings pretty close.
    I’ve removed all the chrome from the OUTSIDE of the truck but I don’t mind chrome on the inside.

    How many people look at crash test ratings and factor in those ratings when choosing a vehicle?

    How many people look at the a pillar handle? Lol it’s a nice notch on your belt when you’re spewing all that nonsense on the commercials. “Highest crash rated mid size truck in its class” etc. I don’t even know if that’s why they removed it tho. Just something I thought of a while ago

    Like your setup. I have been looking for a pillar pod for my truck. I had the pillar pod in my old truck and really liked it. I tried to locate one for my 2019 but no luck until I saw your setup. Researched your posts and found the link where you got your pillar pod. A little more expensive than what I paid about 8 years ago but that is progress. I used GlowShift guages in my old pod and might go the same route or look into the guages your got for yours.

    I like the balanced look of it, inside and out. And given the KTJO 4x4:puke: fuck ups, looks is about all that it is good for.

    Like your setup. I think I’m going to purchase the pillar pod, but 1 question. How well did the pillar pod match the interior? I see it comes in black and is paintable. Did the color match ( if you have black interior which I have ) or did you have to paint it, also how is the fit?
    Thanks

    The fit is excellent because they start with the OEM part and build the pods on top of it. They then paint it black which matches pretty well.

    Thanks for the response. Fit and finish is important for me. I plan on ordering one of those pods.

    I wouldn’t order anything else from them if it was free and I’m not the only one.

    lol exactly true.
    @saajanpatel1
    but if you look at the first post of the thread, you'll see there's a few folks who got the handle, installed it as directed, and it works. I'm one of them. but i was a pre order guy and not sure I'd take the gamble if i read the thread first. and i wouldn't go hanging on the thing either. but it's really good for me getting out of the cab.
