I am ready to send payment whenever you are ready to produce. This for a 2000 PreRunner ExtraCab; I have UltraGauge.
Wondering: would this be a candidate for 3-D printing?

Perfect, I'll let you know soon. I considered 3-D printing it, but I want this bracket to be sturdy and stiff, and a plastic version would need serious webbing and still won't be as stiff as heavy gauge metal. My shop prefers to work with steel anyway - so I'm going with steel :).

Installed mine today. Excellent customer service, very clear and complete installation instructions. Beautiful color match to my gray/charcoal interior.

    I gotcha down :). Here's a prototype I'm messing with:

    IMG_20190824_090149_992.jpg

I'd love to make one that fits both the '01-04 Tacos and '05-15, but the angles are a bit different, so I'm still optimizing.

Any updates on one for the 01-04 first gens? I'd be interested.

Sarah, your timing is (almost) spot on - the '01-04 1st Gen kits are done and packed, I'm just waiting to hear back from my "product tester" whose job it is to follow the instructions and try the install, just in case I missed a step or something is unclear.

As soon as I get the thumbs up from him, these will be ready for sale (I managed to make the same version for the late 1st Gens and the 2nd Gens, with a slight difference in standoff length):

Awesome! I'll keep an eye out for when they go up for sale! Thanks for the update, looking forward to getting one of these installed and finally have something to hold this thing in one place lol

The fit check and testing of the mounts in '01-04 Tacos is complete, so these are now available for sale! It's basically the same mount as for 2nd Gens, but with longer standoffs. The kit includes all the standoffs needed, as well as the longer high strength Grade 12.9 bolts. Enjoy:

Very cool that you're still developing stuff for the first gen market. I think we see it isn't the market nowadays that will buy all the super duper new gadgets. But you're offering is a legit product and developed for the first gen. Not a universal, so thanks man. Makes me wanna get one and a UG but I have a good OBDII reader and crap already. But kudos homie on making stuff for not a big money market, it shows you love what you do. My kinda vendor :D:cool:

Thank you, I really appreciate that! You're correct that the 1st Gen Taco market is a bit "slower" than the newer trucks, but there is some carry-over between 3rd Gen 4Runners (where I started out) and at least the early 1st Gens. Later 1st Gen's are in some ways similar to the 2nd Gens - but yes, all are unique. Thanks for the kind words .

BTW, I have a Torque Pro on my phone that is very nice and poweful, but the beauty of a dedicated UG or SG is that it does not tie up your phone, and is always on (I found myself too lazy to turn on the phone app most of the time). Just sayin' :).

Dang it! Now I have to decide between the SG or the UG.....;)....Just bought the hood lift kit, excited to get that in and up! Nice work sir!!
