My wife happens to go down to the man cave every now and then. Usually she just finds empty bottles of Jack Daniels.12408896-9400-4747-BEDF-C78465774630.jpg
Today? Today was awkward. Over the last several months I have accumulated some spare parts while replacing OEM ones. Also purchasing some miscellaneous parts from fb marketplace. So I’ve Just been cleaning my basement and starting to have everything boxed and labeled.

She asks... “what are we a Toyota dealership?”
    Me: why?
Wife: what’s up with all the boxed parts?

    Some things from my ‘17

    OEM headlights(bulbs)
    OEM Turn signal bulbs
    OEM brake lights(bulbs)
    OEM fog lights (bulbs)
All bulbs are in a large plastic Plano box with labels on each compartment

OEM fog light lens bubble wrapped/boxed

OEM 12mm bolts(skid pkate extras) in a Plano fishing box marked Toyota Bolts

Extra OEM air dam 10mm bolts in
    (Same as above)

    4 extra bed cleats
In a bin on my shelf

    Stock Trd sport grill(bubble wrapped/boxed/labeled

    2 extra center caps.
My neighbor gave em to me the day afte

4Valve stems (came with new tires)
    6 oil filters (Amazon)
    2 air filters(Amazon)

    Parts for Tonneau cover include:
    extra clamps/extra bolts/tie downs/clips/ t-nuts

Trd Sport Air dam/chin strap below the front bumper. Cleaned/bubble wrapped /boxed/labeled

OEM TRD sport Skid plate front skid only on Sport models (purchased OEM ‘16 Off Road and painted it . I installed Off Road skid and also cleaned and painted the OEM one.4A8C0181-3894-473E-BAAD-7320F66FE282.jpg
I wrapped in bubble wrap and labeled and boxed)looks better than charcoal grill color when fresh from the factory.

    For some reason I have
    2015 Prerunner parts
In my head I’m thinking about picking up another 2015 2wd Prerunner

    ‘15 parts for my Prerunner

    Weathertech full set floor liners
    OEM headlights
    OEM grill
    Body clips
    Avs smoked Hood protector

Anyone else have a Toyota Parts Room at their residence?

You need a false wall or maybe bury parts in the crawl space like you’re John Wayne Gacy!

Sounds like 90% of tacomaworld users. The difference being most of us just throw all those useless things in the garbage after holding on to them for a week thinking "maybe I'll trade in my Tacoma someday". Then the next week you're saying "ahhh screw it. Stock leaf springs are going in the grey bin tonight. Sway bar? That's funny. That'll fit too"

OP, your Wife should know many Toyota parts and boxes can have other useful purposes. My Pro grille box (with my old chrome grille inside) sat on my new sofa for a year or so to keep my dog when he was a puppy off the sofa. Jack Daniels may only have one purpose though.

I've always sold stuff right as it came off. I've never been one to return a car to stock

I bought some cheap LEDs on eBay. I’m waiting for them to die. Kept my OEM bulbs. It takes a few days to order new ones and have them shipped. I drive to work early Am and home late PM. My OEM bulbs on my 2015 were on 3 hrs per day.(not including weekend or vacation trips) Never died and never changed one bulb

I should get a discount from Uline (supply company) for all my boxed parts... maybe Plano will team up with Toyota for a “tool kit” all 10-12 mm bolts etc!

I Leave things like that in my neighbors driveway around midnight. By the afternoon they are gone. It’s pretty efficient.

I throw stuff in the back of my son's truck, give him a $20 and tell him to "make it go away".

Works for all kinds of things, well beyond OEM Toyota parts.

You have video surveillance signs up right, to keep him thinking it's not you or to try any funny shit right?

Doesnt matter if you have cameras.. . Signs are a must.

We haven’t developed a solid relationship yet. I’ve described it before like the relationship between Kevin Costner and the wolf, in dances with wolves. I keep trying to lure him over with beef jerky, so I can gain his trust. He just paces back and forth and stares at me.

Tell about TW express and that the parts are just "passing through".
