A quarter lodged in an unusual place: dig it out or leave it? Got a pic!

Probably not where you were thinking! I dumped a handful of quarters in the little bin (see pic) next to the gear shift but a couple fell onto the black plastic cover that surrounds the shift lever. I got one but the other slipped under and dropped down into the console next to the lever. I don't know what it looks like under there and wonder if that little bastard is going to cause any binding or other issues? I'd prefer to not take that thing apart if I don't need to.

Shit I would want that out of there. You might need to do some disassembly.

Unscrew shift knob. Pull up surround. Pretty easy to remove.

Yeah, you don't want that in there. It could jam in a place that you don't want it to.
It is an easy removal of that console piece.

Yop. Just be careful with the cheap plastic clips, 4 of them I believe. That's the same spot to adjust the parking brake.

Like others have said I would get it out of there. Better to do it in your driveway then have it screw you over in a less convenient time.

As an added benefit you will also profit $0.25 lol
