My 2009 Tacoma access cab came with stock, steel, miniature 175/70r15 tires and wheels.
Once they wore down, I swapped them out for custom wheels and 245/65r17 Goodyear Fortera "LS" tires.
My old tire pressure was 32 pounds.
32 is not enough for these new wheels/tires, but I have no way of guessing what I should be using.
Goodyear says to follow the manufacturers recommendations. This is only for the stock size.
So what does a "large" tire Tacoma run for air pressure?
I'm using 40 psi for now. But it is just a guess.
Anyone? (I've disconnected the factory TPS, also)

    I'll give this a try.
I have about 4,000 miles running 35 psi with no wear at all, but you can look at the tread and see that the center is dished, like they are under inflated. At 40 psi they look normal. The ride is the same.
