A.R.E. TW TOPPER ON 2ND GEN REGULAR CAB - Will it fit?

Building my Reg Cab camper. I found someone who will trade an ARE TW for my ARE cab height topper. It is designed for an access cab. Has anyone tried this topper on your regular cab? Curious if it will work.

 

The AC and Reg Cab beds are the same size. The back of the cabs are a bit different.

The rear of the Reg cab is straight at the top.

The rear of the AC cab curves forward at the top.

I have a Reg cab cap on my AC and it fits great, but there is a bigger gap at the top of the cab vs the bottom of the cab.

I think the AC cap will fit to snug on a Reg cab because it will likely hit at the top of the cab with any flex of the bed or frame if offroad or on rough roads.

I had this Leer cap on mine I'm almost certain it wasn't for a RC, it sat to close to the cab for my comfort and got rid of it.
