    Time to tub then?

My 285/75/16's rub on my frame at full lock at ride height. Going to need spacers I guess. Alignment wasn't able to fix it.

    You free Monday or tuesday?

Yep! Maybe just cutting it out entirely.

    What's your backspacing?

Hmmm. What do you think we'd have to do? Cut into the cab or just tub?

Haha. I don't blame you. I can never recall mine. I had to run spacers though.

This is on my passenger side. I ran out of light to continue. Just a rough cut with a cut off wheel. I have removed a bit of where everything comes together but it hasn't intruded in the cab yet. I just bought a flapper wheel for my grinder so that I can clean it up a bit. I am going to flex it this weekend and see if is just enough to clear. I don't rub anything in the front of the wheel. Driver's side seems to be into the metal more and I might have to cut into the cab there. Hopefully I can get away with not having to and finish it up this weekend. I know your tires are about .4 to .6 inches bigger.

It is dark out now and this was just with flash on my phone.

Sams t4r will be getting gears first. I would love some 4.88s or 5.29s. But when I'm loaded down for camping, I still have better power than her t4r empty. Hahahha. So she'll get gears first.

We are planning on doing uca this January for her t4r, and I'll get the specs from those and design my own uca.

Sounds like Monday I'll be tubing the front too with @4Running Daily. :)

So it is after Monday and I want to see pictures. How did the cutting go? Where did you end up cutting from?

    Bump before any work:

    Bump after cutting and tubbing:
    IMG_8633_zpsb2tj3h3b_b4b2974b674a12d09f2c747b1671dbdb739475f3.jpg

You can see the electrical tape I used to cut along the fender.

    Some closer shots after:

    IMG_20161220_145839_zps9km4g6ya_5f3a112fef84d2e19ef2fdb12c6e52944a8afe4b.jpg

Everywhere it was painted I had hammered back:

And an updated shot. I am trying it out to see how I like it without the flares. Still undecided.

    Oh,

And @justlookin. Cutting went easy. Little nerve racking as it was the first time I cut into my body, but after the first cut it was simple. @4Running Daily was there to help me and showed me how far back I should cut and tub. I also painted my sliders where they were showing metal.
